Different Types Of Foam Pigs

Light Density Foam Pigs (1-2 lbs/ft³): These are the most flexible and lightweight options. They excel at light cleaning and drying operations, easily navigating through tight bends and smaller diameter pipes. Due to their softness, they are perfect for delicate or newly constructed pipelines where minimal abrasion is crucial.

Medium Density Foam Pigs (5-7 lbs/ft³): These foam pigs strike a balance between flexibility and sturdiness. They are ideal for more thorough cleaning tasks and can remove medium-level deposits. Their increased density makes them suitable for longer pipeline sections, providing a good mix of scrubbing power and the ability to pass through reduced clearances without getting stuck.

Heavy Density Foam Pigs (8-10 lbs/ft³): These are the most robust and densest foam pigs available. They are designed for challenging cleaning jobs, such as removing heavy deposits and scale from pipelines. Their toughness allows them to withstand substantial pressure differences and aggressive cleaning environments, making them ideal for older or more contaminated pipelines.
