What are Chemical Injection Quills?

Chemical Injection Quills are specifically engineered to inject highly anticorrosive chemicals directly into a pipeline, thereby minimizing any potential damage to the side port or the pipe wall at the point of injection. Moreover, these quills are adept at ensuring the even distribution of chemicals, aligning them directly into the center of the pipeline flow. This strategic positioning prevents the chemicals from channeling down the pipe wall, which could lead to concentrated wear and potential failure.

In terms of construction, the body and stinger of the quill are fashioned from robust alloys such as 304 SS, 316 SS, duplex steel, or Hastelloy 625, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. Injection quills are readily available, with stingers ranging from 3” to 8” in length. Additionally, all injection quills feature female-by-male NPT connections, greatly facilitating the installation process. Injection quills with 3” to 8” long stingers are available.
